Hi friends, how’s the social distancing treating you? I’m a happy camper over here in San Diego. I’ve been teaching myself more about watercolors and mapmaking as I work on my Empire of Dorsa maps.
But anyway, guess what I have to share today?! The first twenty minutes of the Soldier of Dorsa audiobook by the talented Elizabeth Saydah.
Without further adieu…

Just a note to wish you safe keeping and to let you know that although I am only half way through “Soldier” , it is such a great read. I hope you have more volumes churning in your imagination. So thanks and be well in SD.
The Real Person!
Thanks!!!

Hey, really excited to see Soldier is done and to hear an audiobook snippet! I’m hanging out for it to be available on Audible so I can grab it from there. Any author-insights into when it might be available there?
Thanks and congrats on publishing Book 2 🙂
The Real Person!
Hi Emily,
In talking with my narrator, I think late May is a reasonable expectation for when it will be out. It takes a looooong time to do the original recording, then several more weeks to edit, and finally, once uploaded to Audible, Amazon takes about 10 days to publish it. 🙂

Holy crap I started listening to Audiobook during my job and it’s literally what gets me through the day. And this one! I freaking loved princess of dorsa, I’ve never really cried during a book but if you’ve read it you’ll know what pet I’m talking about! So unexpectedly amazing. When a book makes you feel, that’s a sign of a damn good story.
The Real Person!
Jaylen, I’m glad you liked it so much! 😀

Hey there, I’m currently listening to the first book in the series on audible and it’s been so great, I’ve been on the edge of my seat the whole time and I can’t get enough, I’m so excited and anxiously waiting for the second book’s audio to be released! I’m hoping it’s soon 🙂
