Hey… what do you think about the latest draft for my cover (above right)? It’s still a work in progress, but I’d like to hear your thoughts.

Being from the southern part of Missouri; I unfortunately know exactly what you mean about the underlying darkness. I am intrigued by this new book and can’t wait. Also loved the vlog. 🙂

What part of southern Missouri? My dad’s side of the family is all from southeast Missouri. In between Marshfield and Lebanon, if you know those itty bitty towns.

I have heard of Lebanon, but never been there. I am from the Greenville area, but now live in Poplar Bluff (close to the bootheel). 🙂

Hey Eliza,
You asked about the cover-draft… I think it looks cool and will definitely get attention from new readers when it’s online.
I’m looking forward to it!

Okay, I know that area a little bit, but my family is a little further north and west. Some of my young adult stuff (under “R. A. Marshall”) is set in northern Arkansas, and I drew heavily from my experience down in southern Missouri.
