Work-in-Progress Wednesday: Light at the end of the tunnel

Guess what.

I finished Anika takes the long way home up soul mountain!

I can’t wait to share it with you.  I say “I finished,” but that’s not the same as saying “I’m done,” of course.  I’m entering the editing phase at this point, but at least the draft is done.  There is finally light at the end of the tunnel.  Here’s a small snippet from one of the last chapters, just to whet your appetite.

“Amy Ellis,” I start, but she interrupts me before I can go any further.

“Oh, God, Anika, what are you doing?  Don’t tell me you’re about to fucking propose or something.”
